CYCLING OF MAJOR NUTRIENTS
The Carbon Cycle: This cycle is important especially in the food chain. The producers such as plants use the carbon cycle which in turn primary consumers consume these plants and the chain continues. These animals then give off carbon dioxide into the atmosphere during respiration.
The Oxygen Cycle: This cycle is important because it helps all the animals in the environment breathe. Without it then all the animals would die. When the animals consume oxygen then produce carbon dioxide the plants in the environment can use it. When the plants have use the carbon dioxide they produce oxygen usable for the animals. The cycle continues from here.
The Nitrogen Cycle: This cycle is important because it is a big part of many cells and processes such as amino acids, proteins and even our DNA. It is very important to plants because it is needed to make their chlorophyll which is used in photosynthesis.
The Hydrogen Cycle: This cycle is important because water is an essential need for life of all plants and animals. Hydrogen forms carbohydrates which is a very important source of energy. Without our energy we wouldn't be a able to function properly.
The Phosphorous Cycle: This cycle is very important because it keeps every other major nutrient to keep moving.
